I don't want to over-do a web site for anyone; I think the best web site I can make for a customer is one that reflects its owner in style and usability. Browsing through samples of web sites I've designed, you won't see anything too flashy or with a lot of animations, video, or fancy sound effects and blinking fonts. My goal is to let your ideas shine, through good design, good photos of your work, and good writing about your products or services.
After we talk about what you need and want, I'll propose a plan for development according to what I think is going to be best for you, but you have the final say. Once we've agreed on a plan and a price, I'll get started working for you. You'll be able to see each stage of development and provide me with guidance and tweak the design. When I think your site is 90% complete, I'll send you an invoice (I use PayPal, but if you prefer more traditional transactions, I'll accept your check, just let me know). At that 90% stage, the majority of the site will be complete, your email account(s) will be set up and functioning, and I will have a short checklist of details that you have asked me to adjust for the final design.
