ThomasDomain name registration is usually the first step in making a web site. A domain name is the unique name of a web site, and before you can register a domain name for yourself, you have to check and see if it is available or if someone else has already claimed that name.
To register a standard domain name independently of a new web site, our fee is $25/year. There are some exceptional domain names that will cost more, however, for example, domain names that end in .tv (a popular new top-level domain).
